PLAY SUMMARY
By the end of 1928, all three Fail sisters will be dead -- expiring in reverse order, youngest to oldest, from blunt object to the head, disappearance, and finally consumption. Tuneful songs, and a whimsical chorus follow the story of Nelly, Jenny June, and Gerty as they live out their lives above the family clock repair shop near the Chicago River, before their time unexpectedly runs out. A magical, musical fable that weaves in and out of time, where, in the end, the power of love is far greater than any individual's successes or failures.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. YOUR NAME MAY APPEAR IN MORE THAN ONE LOCATION, INCLUDING ON THE BACKSTAGE PAGE AS CREW.
Thank you to everyone who auditioned! If you see your name on the list, congrats to The Chorus of Failure: A Love Story! If you don't see your name on the list, that doesn't mean you aren't amazing. You are! As much as I want everyone to be involved, I had to make some difficult choices with so many incredible students with some very specific guidelines I need to follow. Thank you all for understanding and acting well your part, whether or not you are listed. And good news for everyone! We also have auditions in March/April for our annual Senior Shorts, which will have lots of opportunities to shine with many seniors directing all ages in cast and crew so there's more theatre to come, too, for everyone!
